John Hendry OAM has over 50 years of experience as an educator, school counsellor, and leader in student wellbeing. A pioneer of Positive Education, he has worked with schools across Australia and internationally, including consulting with UNESCO on bullying and school violence.

He co-founded Relationship-based Education (RbE) and developed frameworks such as the Relationship Quotient and Affect Performance Model, highlighting the link between relationships, resilience, and performance. As a consultant to organisations including the Positive Institute and Resilient Youth, John continues to shape wellbeing education globally, promoting schools as safe, connected communities where students and teachers thrive.

Belinda Dutton is an experienced and highly respected Health and Physical Education (HPE) educator and leader, with over two decades of dedication to improving student wellbeing, participation, and inclusive education across Victorian schools. She currently works with Active Education Australia in the Active Schools team, supporting schools to embed the Active Schools Framework.

Belinda is a passionate advocate for inclusive practice. She champions opportunities for girls and students with disabilities to participate meaningfully in physical activity and sport, and she builds staff capacity to create inclusive environments where all students can thrive.

Beyond her professional work, Belinda is also a marathon runner and Everest Base Camp trekker. As a parent, she values balance, wellbeing, and positive role modelling.

Lauren is an experienced PE teacher, sports coach and mindset mentor with over 15 years’ experience across Melbourne schools and sporting clubs. She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Master of Educational Leadership, and is a former VFLW Vice Captain, where she developed a deep understanding of the connection between mindset and performance.

This experience led her to found Think Set Go, a mindset and goal achievement education program supporting students, athletes and educators to build adaptability, confidence and goal-directed behaviour. Lauren is also the author of Mastering Your Mind for Success and a certified NLP Practitioner, combining evidence-informed strategies with practical, real-world teaching and coaching experience.

Her work has been featured through a TEDx Talk, podcasts, magazines and national conferences, where she shares practical approaches to developing adaptive mindset skills in young people. Lauren is passionate about helping students and educators make mindset skills explicit, transferable and impactful, so they can pursue meaningful goals with confidence.
