Practical Engagement Strategies for HPE and Active Classrooms

The Regional HOPE Network Conference 2026, held at Wodonga Senior Secondary College in partnership with Active Education Australia, is a hands-on professional learning day designed to strengthen engagement, participation and learning through movement and active teaching.

Designed for Health, Outdoor and Physical Education teachers from F–10 through to senior levels, this conference offers practical strategies and insights that are readily adaptable across all classrooms, including VCE, HSC, VET and other senior settings. With a focus on practical ideas that work in real classrooms, gyms and outdoor spaces, the sessions more broadly promote active classroom practice.
