John Hendry OAM has dedicated more than five decades to improving the wellbeing of children and young people through education. A highly respected educator, school counsellor and international consultant, he has been a pioneer of Positive Education and has worked with schools across Australia and around the world. John has advised organisations including UNESCO on student wellbeing, bullying and school culture. His work continues to influence educators through practical, evidence-informed approaches that help schools create positive learning environments.

Liz Ellis AO
Liz Ellis AO is one of Australia's most respected sporting personalities, combining an outstanding netball career with a successful career in broadcasting, leadership and advocacy. A former Australian Diamonds captain and World Cup winner, Liz is now a leading television and radio commentator, author and company director. She is a passionate advocate for women's sport and an Officer of the Order of Australia for her distinguished service to netball and the community. In 2023, Liz was crowned winner of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Richard McInnes
Richard McInnes is Executive General Manager, Sport and Community Capability at the Australian Sports Commission. With more than 25 years' experience spanning grassroots, community, high performance and international sport, Richard has held leadership roles across coaching, participation, high performance and CEO positions. He is a recognised leader in sport participation and capability development, driving national initiatives that help more Australians experience the lifelong benefits of sport through inclusive, connected and sustainable sporting environments.

Brooke Hanson OLY OAM
Brooke Hanson OLY OAM is an Olympian, media personality and passionate advocate for living life to the fullest. Rising to prominence through an outstanding international swimming career, Brooke has since inspired audiences across Australia as a keynote speaker, television presenter and wellbeing advocate. Drawing on her experiences in elite sport and life beyond competition, she shares practical insights on resilience, mindset and embracing opportunity. Brooke is also a proud ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation and Life's Little Treasures Foundation.

Kirk Barber is an experienced Health and Physical Education teacher working in a Queensland youth detention education setting. He specialises in trauma-informed, inclusive practice, delivering HPE, First Aid and CPR programs, while drawing on his Australian Army Reserve experience in leadership and resilience.

Garry is Manager - Curriculum Services with the Queensland Department of Education. An experienced educator and curriculum leader, he leads health and wellbeing initiatives, including Health and Physical Education, curriculum development, water safety and alcohol and other drugs education.
James Durl

Dr James Durl is a Research Fellow and Lecturer at Griffith University and lead facilitator of the globally recognised Blurred Minds program. A behavioural scientist and prevention expert, he helps schools address vaping, alcohol and other drug issues through evidence-informed, engaging education.
