Olivia Derndorfer is a passionate Physical Education teacher and the Sports Coordinator at Montrose Primary School, where she has been teaching for four years. Now in her third year as coordinator, Olivia also serves as the Montrose District Coordinator, playing a key role in organising and delivering high-quality sporting opportunities for local primary schools. With a strong commitment to inclusivity and student engagement, Olivia brings a dynamic and thoughtful approach to every lesson. Before entering the school setting, Olivia was a professional swimmer and retired from the sport in 2021. Her background includes extensive experience in aquatic education, having taught swimming to a range of ages and supported program coordination at Camberwell Grammar Aquatic. Olivia’s unique blend of elite sport and education experience fuels her mission to make every student feel confident, capable, and motivated to move.
