Creative Physical Education is a student led practical approach to teaching physical education underpinned by key pedagogical models including FMS, TGFU and SEPEP. Students are guided through a clear process to create dynamic games and dances whilst developing skills at an individual, team and class level over the course of a unit.
A key element of Creative PE is TPSR, Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility, that can be integrated throughout the curriculum at both primary and secondary levels. Come and try this practical session to experience the entire process, for both games and dance, in a fun and engaging environment. This session provides you with templates to create your own Creative PE unit of work whilst addressing the new Victorian Curriculum 2.0.
