Date & Time
Friday, November 21, 2025, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Description

This session explores how the Health Promoting Schools framework can support the meaningful, sustainable, and strengths-based implementation of Respectful Relationships Education (RRE). Drawing on current PhD research and real-world examples from Victorian schools, the session highlights how schools can move beyond siloed curriculum delivery to adopt a whole school approach that connects leadership, pedagogy, and community partnerships.

Participants will examine the evolving policy landscape of RRE in Victoria and consider how school culture, staff capacity, and authentic student voice contribute to safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments. The session will also offer opportunities to reflect on your own school context and provide practical tools and questions to help initiate or strengthen whole school approaches to RRE.

This session is ideal for HPE educators, wellbeing coordinators, and school leaders committed to fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and growth through whole school practice.
