C.02 Lessons from the Frontline: What Works in Teen Vaping Prevention
Date & Time
Thursday, November 20, 2025, 2:10 PM - 3:10 PM
Description

Vaping - and now nicotine pouches - continues to pose a serious challenge for schools on the frontline of this growing but often hidden epidemic. Traditional approaches are falling short. But through our work, we’ve discovered a better way forward.

Over the past 18 months, we've delivered more than 275 workshops, engaging over 30,000 students, teachers, and parents. These experiences have revealed five powerful insights that can transform how schools approach substance use education. This session relevant for teachers of senior health education (with links to VCE Unit 1 HHD).
