Description

This session will focus on the game sense classification of striking and fielding. After introducing the main concepts of striking/fielding, this practical workshop will present a variety of games and activities using softball to develop students’ movements skills and concepts. Teachers will be provided with the CHANGE IT approach, allowing them to apply this to other areas of the curriculum. The second part of the session will focus on the modified game format - Fully Loaded Softball. This modified version of softball introduces exciting gameplay modifications that enhance the overall experience for players. By offering a smaller field, shorter games, and a faster pace, Fully Loaded Softball attracts a wider range of participants, promoting inclusivity and increased participation. Experience adaptable activities and gameplay to develop a diverse range of striking and fielding skills.
