Scott Darlow is an Aboriginal man from Yorta Yorta country, residing in Naarm (Melbourne). He spends his professional life as an educator, public speaker, and a successful recording artist. Scott partners with over 100 schools a year across Australia, Asia and the UK. Originally a school teacher in Victoria, Scott took a year off from teaching to pursue his music career, and twenty years later, he combines his love of education and music to share his culture, his music and his heart for Reconciliation and truth telling.
Scott also offers professional learning sessions for teachers, which focus on Australian history and truth telling. He helps educators understand why First Nations content is such an important part of an Australian education. These session aim to give teachers the tools and confidence to feel more comfortable and authentic teaching this part of the Australian Curriculum.
