Paul Campbell is the Co-Founder and Director of The School of Play, an organisation dedicated to helping educators harness the power of play to improve engagement, wellbeing, connection and learning outcomes in schools.

With more than two decades of experience in education, Paul has worked as a classroom teacher, educational leader and Assistant Principal before transitioning into professional speaking and consultancy. Alongside co-founder Dale Sidebottom, he has delivered workshops and keynote presentations to thousands of educators across Australia and internationally, helping schools create learning environments where students and staff can thrive.

Paul is also the co-creator of Class Break, a play-based platform designed to provide educators with simple, practical and evidence-informed brain breaks, energisers and connection activities that can be implemented immediately in classrooms. Through both The School of Play and Class Break, Paul's work focuses on helping educators understand how play can be strategically used to boost engagement, strengthen relationships, support emotional regulation, enhance executive functioning and improve student readiness for learning.

Known for his energetic, interactive and highly practical approach, Paul combines educational research, real-world classroom experience and plenty of fun to inspire educators to rethink what is possible when play becomes an intentional part of everyday learning.

His mission is simple: to help schools create classrooms where students feel connected, engaged, valued and excited to learn.
