Dr Jemma Keeves is a Physiotherapist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Curtin University. Her research focuses on improving recovery outcomes following traumatic brain injury, with a particular emphasis on concussion in children and adolescents. Jemma is especially interested in the impact of persistent post-concussion symptoms and how mixed methods research can be used to enhance our understanding of recovery and care pathways. Her work aims to support families and schools in reducing the burden of ongoing symptoms and facilitating a safe and effective return to activities for young people after concussion.
