Description
Inclusion and participation are more than just buzzwords - they are essential to the success and wellbeing of all students. This session explores what true inclusion looks like in physical education and school sport settings. We’ll examine both the “hardware” (physical access and equipment) and the “software” (attitudes, language, and systemic structures) that support or limit student participation. With a focus on F–6 physical education, school sport, and interschool competition, educators will leave with a clearer understanding of their role in supporting students with disabilities, as well as practical adjustments, planning tools, and inclusive strategies to apply in their own schools.
