Dr Yaping Zhong is a lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Monash University. She obtained her PhD in Nursing from Monash University, focusing on the professional adaptation and identity construction of Chinese migrant nurses in Australia.
Since 2023, she started her research journey in the field of aged care. Her current research centres on transitional care support for informal carers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds who are taking care of older adults. Broadly, her research interests include aged care and issues related to CALD communities.
