I am a biostatistician (PhD) by discipline with extensive expertise in causal modelling, study design, analysing large complex linked administrative datasets with and a growing interest in applied health economics. As an MCR I have been a principal biostatistician on multinational project to assess the economic burden of osteoporosis, national roll out trial of new cardiac procedures for frail older adults, and examination of modifiable predictors of dementia.
As a post-doctoral researcher I mentored and led complex analytical work, including the delivery of two large scale economic evaluations of state government funded health initiatives to show real world impact. These projects have informed policy and funding decisions, providing me with a strong foundation in applied project evaluation within real world health system settings.
