Kristy Vincec is a PhD student and teacher at Griffith University, where her research focuses on inclusive practice and the ways relational, intergenerational, and community embedded approaches can strengthen participation and belonging. She is an active advisory council member of the Australian Institute for Intergenerational Practice, contributing her expertise to national conversations about intergenerational program design and policy. Kristy has experience as a qualitative research analyst, examining the subjective benefits of intergenerational programs for older participants, with a particular interest in how meaningful connection, agency, and reciprocity shape wellbeing outcomes. Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity, relational practice, and evidence informed approaches that honour the lived experiences of older people within our communities.
