Manori Dhanapriyanka is a PhD candidate in Dental Public Health at the School of Dentistry, University of Queensland, Australia. She is a Dental Surgeon and public health specialist with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and training, with a strong focus on population oral health. She graduated from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya with Second Class honours and received the Professor Bambaradeniya Prize in Prosthetic Dentistry. She holds a Master’s Degree and Doctor of Medicine in Community Dentistry from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research, including national oral health surveys in Sri Lanka and cross-country studies involving Brazil, Australia, and Sri Lanka, as well as systematic and scoping reviews. Her current PhD research focuses on upstream policy-level interventions integrating oral health into general health frameworks for older Australians, addressing inequalities in access and outcomes.
