Georgina is an experienced gerontological Registered Nurse and PhD Candidate at the University of Southern Queensland. Georgina's current research explores psychotropic consent in the Residential Aged Care setting, and opportunities to improve informed consent, advocacy and health literacy through the use of co-designed tools. Georgina's philosophy of practice and professional interest's centre protection of dignity and choice for people receiving care, in particular, the translation of this principle into tangible and observable practices.
