Dr Giebel leads research into health inequalities in dementia and social care and leads the University of Liverpool Dementia Health and Social Care Inequalities Research Group. She has published over 150 peer-reviewed publications in the field, and works with public and care professional stakeholders to generate and conduct research that is developed based on lived and professioanl experiences in the field.
