Mohsina Akter is a PhD student at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Her current research aims to examine the relevance of information on investment decisions in equity crowdfunding. She also completed her Master of Philosophy from the QUT School of Accountancy, QUT, Australia. Mohsina has been awarded different prestigious scholarships, including the QUT Postgraduate Research Award (QUTPRA) scholarships and the QUT Master of Philosophy Development (MDev) scholarship. Her research has been published in internationally refereed journals, including International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Electronic Commerce Research, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research. Her research interests include information processing and decision-making in relation to digital finance, behavioural finance and innovations in accounting.
