Description

Understanding behaviour is imperative if we are to help our students to grow and learn in your school environment.

Using the solid evidence-base of Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, join Bryan as he delves into the murky waters of explosive behaviours:
•    How can schools help staff, to help students to regulate?
•    Staff members co-regulating with students; not co-dysregulating.
•    Practical utilisation of a low-budget model of multi-sensory de-escalation; and why it works.
•    Teaching students self-regulation skills that can be part of their lifelong journey.
•    Understanding which behaviours and energies to reward, and which to redirect.
•    How could this session help you with your own parenting skill development, dog training, and social relationship management?
