Venue

Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury

NZAG 2026 will be held at the Rehua Building, Ilam Campus, thanks to the generosity of our venue sponsor Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury, Ōtautahi Christchurch.

Opened in 2023, Rehua is a purpose-built, high-technology hub at the heart of the Ilam campus. The building brings together education, health sciences, and professional development in a light-filled, flexible environment designed to foster connection and collaboration. Its name was gifted by Ngāi Tūahuriri, the hapū holding mana whenua for the University, and honours Rehua — a rangatira among the stars, associated with wellness, healing, and leadership. These are very fitting values for our 2026 NZAG conference.
