Trudy Ward has over 15 years of experience in the education sector, with the past six years dedicated to supporting Independent schools across Tasmania as an Education Consultant. In her current role, she provides expert advice and advocacy in key areas including curriculum design, pedagogy, school improvement, strategic planning, teacher and school registration, and the effective use of data to inform decision-making. Trudy is also a qualified HALT Lead Teacher, having completed the Senior Leader Pathway, and HALT Assessor.

Trudy brings a deep understanding of school contexts and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for students and communities. She is an active contributor to a range of cross-sectoral, state, and national networks and steering committees, where she plays a role in shaping education policy and practice.

Known for her collaborative approach and strategic insight, Trudy is passionate about building strong relationships, supporting continuous improvement, and making a meaningful impact in schools. She is a trusted advisor to school leaders and educators across Tasmania.
