Young people are growing up in a world unlike any previous generation, and the behaviour we're seeing in schools reflects that reality.
This engaging and thought-provoking session explores the social, emotional and environmental factors shaping student behaviour, engagement and wellbeing today. Drawing on real-world experience working with young people across schools and the community, Josh Prichard examines why students think, respond and connect the way they do, and what educators can do to better understand the behaviour behind the behaviour.
Participants will leave with practical, relationship-based strategies that build trust, maintain high expectations and strengthen classroom culture, while supporting young people to thrive both in and beyond the school environment.
