Michael Ha is Deputy Principal at Toogoolawa School, where he leads whole school improvement across learning, wellbeing and culture for students with complex needs. A passionate advocate for inclusive education, Michael believes every young person deserves opportunities to experience success through movement, connection and belonging. His work has focused on building school cultures where participation is expected, supported and celebrated, recognising that leadership decisions shape students' willingness to engage. Michael is the founder of the Institute of Deeper Learning and TEDxBurleighHeads ED, Australia's first TEDx event dedicated entirely to education. He is the recipient of the 2025 Australian Deputy Principal of the Year Award, the 2026 ACEL National Leadership Award, and is a Schools Plus Teaching Fellow.
