Kirk Barber is an experienced Health and Physical Education teacher currently working in a Queensland youth detention education setting. Across more than 12 years in education, he has taught in primary, secondary, online and vocational learning contexts. Kirk's current focus is HPE, First Aid, CPR and Sports Emergency Management programs, with a strong focus on practical, inclusive and trauma-informed approaches that engage young people with complex needs. He also serves in the Australian Army Reserve, bringing a strong understanding of leadership, teamwork and resilience to his teaching practice.
