Eamon Charles is a Senior Policy Advisor in AERO’s Implementation (Schools) team. He develops resources, guides, training materials, and policies that help schools adopt a deliberate, structured approach to implementing evidence-based teaching practices.
Eamon brings a clinical background as a speech pathologist and leader of school-based services, with expertise in literacy and language curriculum, instruction, assessment and intervention, as well as supporting students with learning difficulties. He has also held teaching and research roles in the tertiary sector, where he led undergraduate subjects on effective literacy instruction and intervention and coordinated research projects focused on implementing structured literacy across systems.
