Sally is an experienced educator with more than 38 years’ experience across public and private education sectors, including early childhood, primary, secondary, adult, community, and hospital-based education. She currently works with the Queensland Children’s Hospital School Education Program, supporting young people in Eating Disorder Day Program and Acute Mental Health services, and has extensive experience developing educational programs for students navigating complex health challenges.
Her work centres on the intersection of education, wellbeing, and engagement, with expertise in arts-based learning, trauma-informed practice, and strengths-based approaches that enhance educational outcomes. In recognition of her contributions to wellbeing and community arts initiatives supporting young people in rural communities, she was awarded a Western Australian Governor’s Award.
