Biography
Ella Bibby is a university student, disability advocate, and lived experience speaker with a passion for creating more inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed educational environments. Drawing on her lived experience of adverse childhood experiences, disability, chronic illness, and mental health challenges, Ella brings a unique perspective to discussions surrounding student wellbeing, educational participation, and the long-term impacts of adversity.

Ella has actively advocated for accessibility and inclusion within both educational and community settings, working to promote greater understanding of the barriers faced by young people living with disability, chronic illness, and complex life experiences. She has supported other young people through shared experience, assisted in fostering collaboration between students, families, and schools, and contributed to conversations aimed at improving educational outcomes and inclusion.

Alongside her advocacy work, Ella has volunteered as a dance teacher, creating welcoming and inclusive opportunities for children of diverse abilities to participate and thrive. She has also volunteered within the Education Department at the Shrine of Remembrance, working with children and young people from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and abilities. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of the importance of inclusive, supportive, and responsive environments for all learners.
