Biography
Justyn Koh is an education with a deep commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning. His classroom practice was shaped by the University of Melbourne's Clinical Teaching Model and further enriched through completion of the Master's of Learning Intervention through the Department of Education's Master's of Inclusive Education initiative.
He specialises in working with students with challenging behaviours and/or neurodiverse presentations, drawing on a blend of trauma-informed, inclusive, and behavioural science-informed practices. He has led the successful school-wide rollout of School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) and achieved Gold award over a three year period at a government primary school.
He currently applies his behavioural and pedagogical approach in an Outreach role at Travancore School. Justyn works alongside the multi-disciplinary RCH Mental Health South West Team and supports schools to implement adjustments and supports that foster learner engagement whilst drawing on clinical recommendations provided by clinicians.
