With 26 years of experience teaching secondary Mathematics, Science, and VCE Psychology across public and private schools in both Australia and the UK, Danielle brings a rich and varied perspective to hospital education. Now in her fourth year at Monash Children's Hospital School, she is a proud member of the Stepping Stones team. Danielle thrives in the unique environment of acute paediatric mental health, where she collaborates closely with clinicians, allied health professionals, and nursing staff. She deeply values the mutually respectful relationships that define the multidisciplinary team, believing that when educators and health professionals work alongside one another as equals, students are the ultimate beneficiaries. Her passion lies in ensuring that every young person, no matter the complexity of their circumstances, remains connected to learning and a sense of possibility. Outside of work, she enjoys movies, exploring nature with her two kelpies, and hitting the trails on her e-bike.
