Ross Fox
Biography
Ross Fox is a senior education executive with a distinguished record of transformational leadership across Australia's school education sector. Most recently serving as Director of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, Ross led a system of 56 schools, 23,000 students and more than 3,500 staff with an annual budget of $500 million for eight years. Prior to this, he served as Executive Director (CEO) of the National Catholic Education Commission, the peak body for Catholic education in Australia, representing over 760,000 students and $10 billion in government funding.
Ross holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from UNSW. He has served as a non-executive director on multiple boards including Australian Catholic University and the Australian Council for Educational Leaders. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Canberra.
Ross grew up in Melbourne and Bendigo and now lives in Canberra with his wife and three young children. He delights in learning new things and seeing the transformative power of education.
