Description
COS is Australia’s largest family-owned and operated workplace and education supplies business, founded in 1977 by the late Dominique Lyone and now led by second-generation Co-CEOs Belinda and Amie Lyone.
Over the past 45 years, COS has grown from a small family venture to a national operation with over 700 staff and warehouses in every state and territory. Every day, we deliver thousands of products to workplaces, schools, and hospitals across Australia, helping to keep them healthy, safe, and productive.
Our sister company Kookaburra Audio Visual & Technologies are specialists in Audio Visual and Technology. Led by CEO Justin Bielefeld, Kookaburra delivers innovative, high-quality AV and technology solutions tailored to schools and workplaces nationwide. Supported by COS’s infrastructure and shared values, Kookaburra combines technical expertise with national scale to deliver trusted, education-focused solutions across Australia.
As a family-run company, we take pride in supporting local communities and driving sustainability. Through the Lyone Foundation, we donate 1% of annual revenue to local Australian charities, contributing over $23 million to initiatives focused on human welfare. From January to June 2024, we successfully Net Zero Operations and 100% Renewable Electricity nationwide. We remain focused on building upon this achievement with our Decarbonisation Plan.
