Lauren is the National Participation Coordinator at Badminton Australia, focusing on creating positive first experiences in badminton through schools and community settings and turning them into ongoing participation. Her experience and passion have always centred on introducing new audiences to sport, from her first role delivering multisport programs in preschools to designing and delivering inclusive participation programs in leisure and recreation settings. She is passionate about finding new and accessible ways to bring sport to more people. Lauren was heavily involved in the development of the new Shuttle Time Australia program in partnership with Active Education Australia and oversees school engagement and the Sporting Schools program.
