Jacqui is a Senior Lecturer specialising in Health and Physical Education at Deakin University. Her work is driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to advancing the field through research and practice. Her research interests span curriculum, assessment, and policy, as well as the experiences of early career teachers navigating the profession. Beyond these areas, Jacqui is deeply engaged with questions of relationality and affect, exploring how these dimensions connect to Health and Physical Education and shape our collective capacity to attune more productively to the world. She brings a strong sense of responsibility toward the planet and seek to foster approaches that promote meaningful, sustainable connections between people, education, and environment.
