Chris Goldstraw is an Expert Teacher in Residence for Health and Physical Education at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, where he designs and facilitates professional learning for HPE teachers through the Teaching Excellence Program. Through the Academy’s Teaching Impact Fellowship, Chris designed and implemented the Tier 1 SPARK Program (Students Promoting Achievement, Respect, and Kindness), a whole-school wellbeing initiative at Mount Waverley Primary School. Prior to his current role, Chris served as a Learning Specialist in Instructional Coaching at Mount Waverley Primary School, where he led Physical Education curriculum and designed whole-school wellbeing initiatives. Chris is passionate about helping HPE leaders translate good ideas into lasting, whole-school practice.
