Session Description
Are you on the side of TikTok and Instagram that is just wild PE games? Let me guess, you save them all and then never look at them again. Don’t worry, we have done the work for you. This practical session takes the best viral PE games from TikTok and Instagram, puts them through the real classroom test, and shows you which ones are actually worth using.
We have tried, tested and tweaked a wide range of games so they are safe, engaging, purposeful and easy to run with real students, real class sizes and real equipment. The activities will be grouped into clear lesson phases, including Do Nows, warm-up games, FMS and skill-building activities, minor games and exit tickets.
Expect a highly practical session filled with movement, laughter, simple setup ideas, modifications, inclusion strategies and ready-to-use activities you can take straight back to your school. This is not about copying trends for the sake of it. It is about turning online inspiration into meaningful HPE learning, with games that build participation, teamwork, skill development, feedback and student engagement.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will leave with a practical bank of ready-to-use activities that can be implemented immediately in HPE classes. Teachers will experience a range of engaging Do Nows, warm-up games, FMS and skill-building activities, minor games and practical exit tickets. Participants will understand how each activity can be used within a lesson structure to increase movement, maximise participation, reduce downtime and support student engagement. Teachers will also gain simple modifications to adapt activities for different class sizes, abilities, equipment levels and learning intentions.
