City Futures - Football in Schools Program
Session Description
City Futures sees Melbourne City coaches embedded into school timetables, delivering both football sessions and in class theory around leadership, respect and personal development.
Delivered to Years 7-10, schools involved in the program have reported:
Improved overall school attendance from students
Reduction of incidents within school time
Improved behaviour and engagement
Development of new friendships amongst students
The program has been evaluated by Federation University and the Collaborative Evaluation & Research Centre
