This professional development session will explore how VCE/VET Sport, Aquatics and Recreation teachers can use AI effectively, ethically and practically to support student learning and improve end-of-year exam performance. The session will focus on how AI can be used as a teaching and study support tool, not as a shortcut. Teachers will be shown practical ways to use AI to unpack key knowledge areas, create exam-style questions, develop benchmark answers, build revision activities, explain difficult concepts, and provide students with targeted practice using VCE-style language and marking expectations. A key focus will be on helping teachers understand how to guide students to use AI appropriately when preparing for SACs and the final examination. This includes using AI to practise command terms such as identify, describe, explain, justify and evaluate; improve written responses; compare weak and strong answers; and receive feedback that supports deeper understanding.
