John Hendry OAM has been an educator for over 50 years, serving as a teacher, school counsellor, and leader in student wellbeing. A pioneer of Positive Education, he has consulted with schools across Australia and internationally, as well as with UNESCO on bullying and school violence.

John co-founded Relationship-based Education (RbE) and developed the Relationship Quotient and Affect Performance Model, exploring the links between relationships, resilience, and peak performance. He also co-created the Resilient Mindset framework with Andrew Fuller.

As a consultant to organisations such as the Positive Institute, The Flow Centre, and Resilient Youth, John continues to shape wellbeing education worldwide. His work is grounded in the belief that schools should be communities where children feel safe, connected, and excited to learn, and where teachers and parents work together to nurture positive, resilient learners.

ALEX RANCE


Alex Rance is a former professional Australian rules footballer, best known for his elite defensive prowess and inspiring on field leadership over a distinguished 200-game career with the Richmond Football Club (2007–2019).

Following his AFL career, Alex transitioned into education and literature, co-founding an alternative learning institution focused on holistic development and resilience. He also authored best-selling children's books that emphasize values such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership.

Driven by his commitment to innovation, high performance and collaboration, Alex launched his own Leadership and Mental Performance consulting business. He reunited with former Richmond coach Damien Hardwick as a Leadership Consultant for the Gold Coast Suns beginning in 2023. His expertise in team culture and mental performance continues to influence high-performing individuals, teams and organisations.
