Danielle Byrne is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, specialising predominantly in neurosciences. In 2019, she completed a postgraduate degree in Clinical Neurological Rehabilitation in Occupational Therapy, contributing to a published review of current Australian occupational therapy practice in sensory assessment following stroke.
She has worked across a range of health organisations in both the United Kingdom and Australia and currently holds the role of Cognition Clinical Lead at Monash Health. While this role represents a shift from a traditional neurosciences pathway, her work has focused on applying cognitive frameworks across diverse populations, including people living with dementia and delirium.
Through her current position, she has been actively involved in research and quality improvement initiatives and is passionate about collaborative approaches that drive meaningful, positive change in patient care.
