She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She is currently a PhD candidate in Public Health at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), where her research focuses on the use of virtual reality and innovative technologies to improve cognitive functioning and wayfinding abilities in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. Alongside her academic work, she is employed part-time as a Social Support Worker with Care Connect Home Care in Toowoomba, supporting older adults to maintain independence and wellbeing in the community. She also volunteers as a companionship provider with Ozcare in Toowoomba, reflecting her strong commitment to enhancing quality of life for older people. Her work integrates research, practice, and technology to support person-centred approaches in ageing and dementia care.
