Ethar Alsharaydeh is a Senior lecturer at School of Nursing and Midwifery. Ethar has experience as a clinical Registered Nurse across a number of hospitals and aged care facilities, in Australia and overseas. She completed her PhD in 2020 which focused on the experience of immigrant parents raising children with disabilities. Ethar’s main research area is in family and child health, focusing on CALD community. Ethar also has research interest in examining and exploring the learning engagement of the international students studying post graduate degrees in host countries. Ethar has successfully led a number of research projects using quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research designs.
