Dr Sarah Elder is a registered psychologist with over 20 years' experience in dementia care, working across community, residential and acute care settings to support people living with dementia and their care networks through education, counselling, behaviour support, rehabilitation, service development, and clinical leadership. Sarah was instrumental in pioneering the Family Liaison Officer role through the Acute to Residential Care Transition Service, and currently leads a small national team of Family Liaison Officers as part of the Hospital to Aged Care Dementia Support Program at Dementia Support Australia.
