Dr Michelle Kelly is a Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle in Australia. She has a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Newcastle, and a PhD and Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Associate Professor Kelly has worked both clinically and in research with people with neurological conditions, including developmental, acquired and neurodegenerative disorders for the past 15 years. Her research and clinical work is focused on older adult mental health and dementia inclusive of social changes associated with dementia and impact on informal and formal caregivers. She hopes to improve post-diagnostic care for people living with dementia and improve the quality of life for them and their support people.
