Ms Kimberly Charlton is an Occupational Therapist with extensive clinical experiences across acute and aged community rehabilitation settings. Her clinical experience has included specialised work in amputee rehabilitation, geriatrics and orthopaedics. Her research focuses on improving rehabilitation service provision for people who develop disability in later life, particularly through the translation of research into clinical practice. Kimberly has a strong interest in Qualitative research methodologies that explore the experiences of rehabilitation service users and providers. She is currently completing a PhD examining how manual wheelchair training can be better delivered for people with chronic and progressive conditions. She is passionate about advancing health equity and strengthening the quality and accessibility of rehabilitation services.
