Rose joined Dementia Australia as a Policy Advisor in 2021. She has taught at various Australian universities in screen studies and ageing studies. Prior to joining Dementia Australia, Rose worked as a Registered Nurse and dementia care educator in the residential aged care sector for more than three decades. As part of the Dementia Australia Policy and Advocacy team, Rose is committed to ensuring that the voices of people living with dementia, and their family members and carers are heard, and is passionate about improving access to high quality dementia support services and care.
