Emmet Maher is a PhD candidate at the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies at UNSW Sydney. He is a 2026 Westpac Future Leaders Scholar and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. His research focus is on healthy ageing, ageing populations, climate change, and health system risks.
