Dr Sarah Young is a Senior Lecturer at the Research in Effective Education in Early Childhood (REEaCh) Centre in the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne. Sarah has extensive experience as a teacher and researcher in play-based learning, adult-child interactions, and pedagogy in early childhood education. Sarah’s research addresses the relational aspect of learning, in which children and adults co-contribute to the process. Sarah has engaged in research collaborations in education, museums and public spaces, theorising and rethinking learning spaces for children.
