Professor Sanetta du Toit is Professor and Discipline Lead of Occupational Therapy in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University. An internationally recognised occupational therapy researcher, her work focuses on aged care, meaningful engagement, occupational justice, and equity for frail and marginalised older people. Professor du Toit has published extensively in leading international journals, with research cited globally and applied across Australia, Europe, Africa, and the Global South. As a founding director of Eden Alternative South Africa and the ECU ATOSE Hub, she leads international collaborations translating evidence into policy, practice, and aged‑care reform.
