Dr Zara Thompson (she/her) is a registered music therapist and researcher based in Naarm/Melbourne. She currently works with people who have cognitive, neurological, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and facilitates the Rewire Musical Memories choir – an inclusive and therapeutic choir for people living with dementia and their care-partners. In her research role, Zara is a post-doctoral research fellow at The University of Melbourne, where her research interest relates to using music to support people living with dementia and their supporters.
